I tried the gorditas plate , it was AMAZING!!!! Very well stuffed with ground beef and topped with lettuce,tomato and cheese . Sided with rice and beans And the salsa was very tasty!! Also all the workers super friendly !!
The food was amazing. The Carne asada tacos and burrito were fabulous. The ice tea was so fresh and brewed well. Our server Julio was so kind and attentive. The hostess was also very welcoming when we walked in. After our long drive to Las Cruces, this was the best place to enjoy an outstanding meal, all while being treated so kindly. I just couldn't leave NM, without leaving a review. 10 out of 10..
Food was delicious chips and salsa provided and are so addicting. The house margaritas are on point and delicious. As for the food had the chimi green chili shredded beef and it was outstanding crunchy and wet in the right way plus the kick form the green chili . Beans and rice are a must as sides as they go with the plate.
I stopped here years ago on a road trip and finally had a chance to visit again. I had the carne asada burrito and I wanted to try a side of the chile con carne. The burrito was good, but the chile con carne was excellent!!! Just delicious. My girlfriend has the chile relleno which she enjoyed tremendously. Our drinks were great, service was spot on and I can't wait to visit again. Highly recommend!
Chilitos continues to be a Las Cruces favorite for New Mexican food, with a hint of Mexican cuisine. Their menu includes quite a number of food items and my favorite is Combination Plate #3. Their service is excellent and our server never skipped a beat even though we had a party of ten. She made it look easy. Lastly, the beer is cold and the margaritas are pretty remarkable! Make sure you stop by soon!
